Website Statistics

• As the official Air Force source for electronic
  publications and forms, the e-Publishing website
  is home to
• 10,447 electronic publications
• 4,154 electronic forms
• 2,395 short titles of physical publications and
  forms (i.e. SI, and FOUO)

Web Navigation Tips

• Saving Products - publications and form can be
  saved by right clicking on the short title, then
  click on Save Target As
• Expanding title columns -- can be done by moving
  your pointer in the "gray header bar" just above
  the long title header until you get the double
  arrows, then move the arrows as desired.
• Forms and Publications Page -- now serves as the
  e-Publishing home page. Products are listed in
  categories Air Force, MAJCOMs, DRU, FOA,
  Numbered Air Force, Base/Unit (drop down menus),
  Supplements and Special (for Forms). Short titles
  are listed by series numerically, including
  specialty series.
• Search Field enter short title with NO spaces

CACHE/LATENCY

• CACHE/Latency issue ongoing since Sep 07
• CACHEserver storage of used image data
  frequently used (old pub and metadata still
  visible after new version posted)
• Latencyproducts appearing and disappearing/re-app
  earing with the wrong date
• Problems associated with data delivered on AKAMI
  proxy servers
• Air Force Network Operations Center (AFNOC)
  involvement began in Oct 07--researching and
  exploring possible resolution
• AFNOC sent field tasker (MTO 2007-290-001) to
  disable proxy server caching of AF e-Publishing
  website.
• Field reported compliance on 26 Nov 07
• Reengaged with AFNOC in Jan 08 due to additional
  CACHE issues surrounding the NCR
• CACHING/Latency continues to be reported and
  researched by AFNOC with AFNEWS and AKAMI
