Dan Connell, UCM Director Ron Daley with Governor
Ernie Fletcher.
36Tom Layzell of CPE supports UCM
Clearly, the UCM is an innovative and I
believe very important approach to delivering
academic programs to Kentuckians in your region .
. . It is the kind of innovative and
collaborative effort that we have urged the
institutions to pursue since postsecondary
education reform began in 1997.
37This is all about Learning and Success
The UCM is serving two distinct student groups
traditional students who have recently graduated
from high school and non-traditional students
with work or family responsibilities which
prevented them from leaving the region to
complete their bachelor or master degree until
now.
