2Have you ever wished you could find a magic lamp
with a genie in it to help you with your
homework?
3Well, I do not have a magic lamp with a genie
inside. But, I do have four easy steps to
improve your academic success.
4 Did you know? What you eat (or dont eat)
effects the way you learn? Step 1 Eat 5 A
Day! You must eat a total of 5 fruits and
vegetables a day in order for your brain to have
the fuel it needs to complete homework.

5 Did you know? The brain needs 8 gallons of
blood per hour for oxygen, and water for balance
and functioning. Step 2 Drink 6 A Day! You
need to drink at least 6 glasses of water a day.
The brain needs proper hydration to let the

6 Did you know? Physical activity will help
you look and feel better. It also helps you
avoid depression. Best of all, it will make you
more alert! Step 3 Exercise 60 Minutes A Day!
Your body needs at least 60 minutes a day of
exercise. This will help improve your mood and
make you feel more in control of your homework.

7 Did you know? Without the proper amount of
sleep, you deprive the brain of its full capacity
to function. Step 4 Sleep 8 hours! Your body
needs at least 8 hours of sleep in order for your
brain to work at the level necessary to take part
