What is a TSUNAMI?

• A series of waves
• Happens in lakes or in the ocean
• A big wall of water
• The first wave is usually smaller
• It crashes hard against the shore

How Do Tsunamis Form?

• Faults make earthquakes and earthquakes make
  tsunamis
• By earthquakes and volcanoes
• By falling rocks (from cliffs)
• Tsunamis are very dangerous
• Tsunamis destroy everything

• Can cause a flood

• Loses energy as they approach to the shore
• Gets to the shore

• Causes flood
• Gets to the shore
• Destroys the shore
• Gets to close to a river or lake
• And gets in the river or lake

• And finally causes a flood

others?

• Convection currents
• Magma currents in mantle
• Magma moves in a pattern
• Because heat
• Example hot air balloon
