History

• The Chicago Bears were founded in Decatur,
  Illinois and moved to Chicago in 1921. They were
  originally named the Decatur Staleys from 1919 to
  1920. Then changed to the Chicago Saleys when
  they were moved to Chicago. They were that name
  for the 1921 season. From 1922 to present they
  were and are the Chicago Bears.

Super Bowls and Championships

• The Chicago Bears have won 9 League Championships
  and 8 NFL championships. They have also won 4
  Conference Championships and 17 Division
  Championships. The Bears have only won one Super
  Bowl and that was in 1985. But in 2006 they made
  it to the Super Bowl but didnt win.

Bears Hall of Famers

• The Bears have 25 players in the Hall of Fame.
  One of the most well known player is Walter
  Payton. Walter Payton was number 34 and played
  for the Bears as running back.

Bears Head Coaches

• The Bears have had 19 head coaches from 1919 to
  present. The first three coaches were Fritz
  Wasem, Red Brannon, and James Cook from 1911 to
  1919. Chicagos coach from 2004 to present is
  Lovie Smith.

Players

• The Bears have had some of the best players in
  the NFL.
  
• Brian Urlacher is number 54 as a middle
  linebacker.
  
• Devin Hester is number 23 as a return specialist.
  Those are just some of them.

The Bears

• The Bears were and are one of the most
  competitive and one of the best teams in the NFL.
  The Bears offense is not as good as their
  defense but they still do good except for the
  2007 season.
