2Current Program
- Both Math A and Math B are two year courses.
- Students can start Math A in 7th grade if they
are on an accelerated track. - All other students start Math A in 9th grade.
They have the option of continuing through Math
B.
3New Program
- All math classes are taught over one school year.
- Sequence can start in 8th or 9th grade.

8Integrated Algebra
- There are 43 algebra performance indicators
(grades 5-8) that have to be mastered prior to
moving into Integrated Algebra. - An eighth grade student, accelerated into
Integrated Algebra, has to master all 32 of the
47 performance Indicators from the grade 8
curriculum prior to March. - Mastery of all 89 performance indicators of the
Integrated Algebra curriculum prior to the June
Regents.
9Geometry
- There are 56 geometry performance indicators in
grades 5 8 and 10 in Integrated Algebra - Geometry has 74 performance indicators all
identified as geometry
10Algebra II Trigonometry
- There are 105 performance indicators in this
course. Seventy seven are algebra and sixteen
are probability and statistics. Probability and
statistics was last taught in the Integrated
Algebra course.
