  • In 2005 Ron directed our production operations in
    Wichita, overseeing a team of 120 employees and
    50 contractors.
  • His efforts to drive operational performance,
    improved inventory management, and higher
    throughput in both ATO and CTO enabled us to
    achieve back-to-back record quarters in Q3 and
    Q4.
  • Ron also led his team through many challenging
    circumstances throughout the year, maintaining
    continuity of supply across all 4 quarters.
  • Ron's dedication and leadership is a significant
    factor driving the continued quarter-end delivery
    performance that enables our business and gives
    us significant competitive advantage.

    said we had to hire him or else so here he

  • As one of our first employees in Italy, Marco has
    faced developing his new territory, finding new
    office space and hiring a second employee to work
    with.
  • He is passionate about LSI and our products and
    single-handedly kick- started the business in
    Italy.
  • Marco and his wife are expecting their first
    child therefore he could not attend club this
    year.

Rick ReisnerMarketing Product Management
  • Rick Reisner was a tireless and relentless
    champion for the XBB product from its conception
    and still today is working to make it the most
    successful product in our company's history.
  • XBB was first by over a year as the industry's
    first 4 GB FC array and is the flagship of our
    product line.
  • Rick has exemplified the role a product manager
    should play. He has taken the time to go to the
    field supporting launches so he has an
    opportunity to hear the voice of customers,
    partners, and our partners' partners and take
    that back to make the next product even more
    successful.
  • XBB has been our most important product over the
    last year sustaining our revenues and profits.
    Much of that success has been because of Rick
    reisner's personal commitment and drive to make
    XBB the product it is.

Gerry SmithEngineering
  • In 2005 Gerry led the RSA efforts to architect
    and develop our MegaRAID SAS programs, and made
    extensive personal sacrifices to ensure our
    success by temporarily relocating to Fremont and
    leading/mentoring the team throughout the
    project.
  • He architected the majority of the new features,
    and was responsible for either developing or
    directing most of the substantial changes
    required in the FW, Driver, and Application code.
  • Gerry also architected and delivered RAID6,
    preparing the way for a production release in
    2006.
  • In addition, Gerry contributed significantly
    almost daily in customer status meetings and
    technical discussions pertaining to both new
    product development and field support.

Dennis SpringerCustomer Support
  • Best known as the RCA (Root Cause Analysis) man
    and still is although he and his group have taken
    on a much broader scope of responsibilities
  • Working closely with 7x24/Jamie Harris, Product
    Support accepts/manages all RCA requests from our
    OEM partners.  An RCA typically results from a
    serious customer incident that root cause was not
    evident or clearly explainable. 
  • Critical Situation Management usually result of
    a customer field incident that was not handled or
    explained to satisfaction of the customer or OEM
    Account team that has been escalated up through
    the OEM Partner Management for quick resolution. 
    Prod Support manages these escalations by being
    the primary focal and communication point for
    Engenio.  They bring  Engenio resources together
    to provide information or take required action to
    close the Crit Sit.
  • Manage the Apps Eng Lab that provides capability
    to test/evaluate pre-release products to provide
    support to our OEM partners as well as
    test/confirm problems that our OEM partners
    experience with this early ship equipment,
    test/recreate problems that our OEM partners are
    seeing with released products in field and drives
    fixes back into Engineering for resolution.
  • Manage the creation of fixes in current and
    future maintenance code releases on an ongoing
    basis for our Major OEM Partners.
  • Has been and continues to be a highly productive
    individual contributor while building a highly
    competent, responsive, and productive Product
    Support team that has filled a much needed and
    critical needed customer support role.
