non-profit organization National Association of
Centers for Occupational Safety and Health
(NA?OT) is a voluntary corporation of OSH centers
and educational and training organizations in the
field of Occupational Safety and Health which
were established with the aim to coordinate and
support their professional and economic
activities, to represent their common interests
in government and other bodies and in
international organizations as well. (Extract
from Bylaws of NA?OT).
Association NA?OT numbers more than 70
organizations from all regions of Russia.

Aims and activity scientific support of the
authorities, local authorities and institutions
regardless of what is their organizational and
legal ownership and providing them with theoretic
principles, analytical materials, conclusions and
proposals, which help to generalize national and
international experiences necessary to make
decisions which can be contributory factors for
development of economy, especially in the field
of social and labour relations on the federal and
regional level - scientific support of measures
to be realized by the authorities in the field
of social and labour relations -conduction of
joint research with other scientific Russian and
foreign organizations -scientific prediction of
development of social and labour sphere and
social and labour relations for the short, medium
and long periods as well elaborating of
scientific predictions for evaluation of social
consequences, decisions and various types of
expert examinations in the social and labour
sphere - introduction and educational work of
different types favorable to strength cooperation
between the authority, business, trade unions in
the matters concerning realization of the goals
of government politics in the social and labour
sphere - analysis of practical application of
labor legislation in Russia and other countries

- elaborating of proposals for projects of legal
normative acts concerning matters of labour,
employment and social security of population -
elaboration of scientific principles of the
social partnership in the sphere of labour in the
course of formation and development of the
versatile market economy.
- elaboration of the mechanism of the system of
the relationship between employees, employers and
the government under circumstances of market
conditions and elaboration of methodical
approaches to the development of cooperation of
trade unions, employers and other persons
empowered by employees to represent them in the
representative institutions in the sphere of
labour. - revealing of grounds of social
conflicts and contradictions elaborating of
mechanism to determine the level of social
tension, to prevent and solve labour dispute
methodical securing of the work of labour
arbitration courts in the case of collective
disputes - elaborating of scientific principles
and mechanisms intended to perfect the
government system of various types of social
security - providing reasons and elaborating
principles serving as ground to form normative
acts in the field of social security -
participation in arrangement of social programs
and proposals aimed to render assistance to
persons who are badly in need of social
protection - elaborating of methodical materials
and organization of OSH training courses for
some categories of insured persons.
