  • The World Electronics Forum (WEF) is a voluntary
    gathering of CEOs and Directors of electronics
    industry associations worldwide. Founded in 1995,
    WEF meets annually to discuss major topics of
    common interest to the various associations,
    exchange information on services and data and
    strengthen relations between associations for the
    benefit and service of our industries
  • The 14th Annual World Electronics Forum (WEF)
    will be held in New Delhi, Republic of India from
    December 1-5, 2008. The host association for the
    2008 WEF is The Council of Electronic Hardware
    Associations (CEHA).
  • CEHA or Council of Electronic Hardware
    Associations is a voluntary body formed by the
    top five all India Electronic Hardware
    Associations. The Governorship of CEHA rotates
    between the five constituents. At present TEMA is
    the Convening body for CEHA with Mr. NK Goyal ,
    its Chairman Emeritus being the Convener for
    CEHA.

    transportation and coordinating welcome of each
    delegates and onward transportation to Hotel.

    at Hotel Reception to coordinate and receive and
    guide the guest for easy check-in. Hotel will do
    traditional Indian Welcome to all guest and a
    separate Desk for documentation at the Hotel
    Lobby. Mr. Jha will also be coordinating
    activities and movements of Spouse for local
    transportation/shopping etc

    It is proposed to organize a capsule program by

    appointment in Hotel Premises.

  • In case, delegate wish specific treatment for
    chronic illness then Acharya Sharma can be
    contacted in the month of November for fixing up
    one to one meeting on chargeable basis. Ms.
    Sarbani to coordinate this activity

    specialist will give practical training for
    Indian food (1 starter, 1 drink, 2 main course, 2
    dessert) at designated premises for which
    separate arrangements would be made. Cost to be
    shared by all participants. Ms. Sarbani to
    coordinate and confirm participants for this
    activity. Complimentary transportation would be
    arranged.
  • Paid Traditional Indian Ayurvedic Massage (Kerala
    Massage) can also be arranged to destress and
    general well being. Mr. Mehul Bhandari to
    coordinate and confirm participants for this
    activity.
  • Complimentary Joy Rides/Amusement Park, Zoo, Boat
    Ride, Rail/Aircraft Museum for Children can be
    arranged. Complimentary transportation/light
    snacks will be provided. Ms. Sarbani to
    coordinate and confirm participants for this
    activity.

    Indian Ponnadai (Kind of big traditional
    colourful big scarf around, which can be used
    later by spouses) Traditional Indian
    Bindi/Bangles will be provided to the spouse with
    our compliments.

    also be made for Spiritual blessings from an
    Indian Religious Guru Temple, wherein visitors
    can offer garland to the deity and fruits/food
    to the less privileged/handicap. Complimentary

  • Facilitation for visits to Church, Bahai Temple,

General TIPS as a Tourist
  • Always change Foreign Currency at Hotel,
    designated Banks. Delegate can take help of Mr.
    Rajiv Jha (GSM 98 119 96411). Do not hand over
    Foreign Currency to any body.
  • Do not get lured to 5 or 7 star massage
    advertisements in News Papers. They are mostly
    cheats and illegal too.
  • TIPS generally range between 5 to 10 depending
    up on the service. No tip expected by Tax Driver,
    Fast Food Counters. Generally tip to Bell Boy in
    Hotel (Rs.10-20), Restaurant Tip (Rs. 50-100). No
    tip expected at Hotel Check out cashier level
    generally.
  • Do not tip without seeking advice as some
    services may include tips
  • Bring proper winter clothing's and a good pair of
    sport shoes
  • Carry enough energy bar/water, sun glasses, cap
  • Pork/Beef not served during any Lunch or Dinner
