- The mission of Learning Programs in the Office
for Undergraduate Education is to provide
academic support to enrich the undergraduate
experience in Emory College. These services build
skills and strategies, promote collaborative
learning and support faculty initiatives to
develop Emory students as intellectually engaged
scholars and citizens.

19 EPASS
- Provides free one-on-one support for specific
classes with faculty recommended upperclassmen. - Helps students review content and build study
skills for specific courses. - May be used periodically or regularly throughout
the semester and according to the students own
schedule using our online scheduling program.

22 The ESL Program
- Provides individual tutorial support for students
who speak English in addition to their native
language. - Facilitates study groups that address specific
academic skills sets such as academic reading,
writing, listening and note-taking. - Offers self access ESL resources (books and
software). - Guides and supports faculty to help make lectures
and assignments more accessible to ESL students.
23 Learning Enhancement Lab (LEL)
- Provides learning technologies to improve
productivity and promote better learning
practices and efficiency. - Assists students in determining which technology
best serves their needs. - Trains students in the use of these technologies
and offers ongoing support.
