  • 1 in 4 residents are age 60 and older
  • Florida ranks 1 in of citizens who are elders
  • 82 over age of 65 live in coastal communities
  • 3.5 million people are age 60 and older
  • 3,573 people in Florida are 100 years old or
    older
  • A portion are special needs population
