2,000 years ago, in the small town of Nazareth in
Galilee, the angel Gabriel appeared to the Virgin
Mary, who was engaged to Joseph from the house of
David.

Angel Gabriel Hail! Favored one! The Lord is

name him Jesus.

A decree went out from Emperor Augustus that all
the world should pay taxes. All went to their
own towns to be registered. And Joseph went to
Bethlehem with Mary, to whom he was engaged. As
they traveled through Bethlehem it came time for
Mary to deliver her child. In searching for a
place to stay, they came upon a small inn.
