2What can we learn from ISTEP?
- Taxpayers, parents, and educators ask many
questions about instructional programs as Indiana
strives to build a brighter future by providing
the best possible education for its young people.
Questions such as the following are commonly
asked - Are all of our students attaining the skills
they need to succeed? - What kind of individual instruction would
help my child?
3Sharing ISTEP Data with Students and Parents
- School discussions focus on how students,
parents, and teachers might work together to - Understand what students already know and are
able to do. - Understand what students do not yet know or are
not yet able to do. - Develop plans for learning new knowledge and
skills and for practicing what is already
mastered.
