Title: Chronos Guided Tour

1
  • Chronos Guided Tour

2
  • This automated presentation shows you some sample
    screens from Chronos.
  • In Chronos itself, you will be able to choose
which topics you wish to interact with, and work
through the screens at your own pace.

3
Chronos is easy to use. Clicking on a main menu
option gives you a list of topics. You can go
through the topics in any order and revisit them
later if you want to.
4
The first section gives you a lot of useful
information and context.
5
You can play the video or read the text of the
message.
6
Four quizzes test your knowledge on a range of
subjects.
7
An example of a quiz question
8
Clicking on the tiles reveals the picture, and
different perspectives on sustainable development.
9
Beacons provide inspiring stories from around
the world.
10
The second section is concerned with reflecting
on everyday situations and on your personal
values.
11
The stories of everyday items in the office are
used to illustrate our connections with the rest
of the world.
12
35 questions help you understand how your values
relate to sustainable development.
13
The red dot in the grid shows how you scored.
14
The third section gives you the chance to see
how you would react to some real business
dilemmas.
15
Five role plays cover topics as diverse as child
labour and pollution.
16
Each one tells a story
17
and brings together the differing perspectives
of the people who are affected.
18
Each of the possible solutions has some plus and
some minus points.
19
The fourth section discusses the arguments about
the role of business.
20
Will behaving sustainably benefit businesses
financially? And do businesses have a moral
duty to do so anyway?
21
Here you have an opportunity to try out some of
the arguments about sustainability.
22
In this section you have the chance to think
about your organisation and your own influence.
23
The company evaluation is considered under three
headings social, economic and environmental.
24
You answer the questions based on the evidence
around you in your company.
25
Here your personal sources of influence are
explored together with a four-step planning tool.
26
The last section looks at some next steps,
including some pointers to useful books and
magazines.
27
Some of the early books on sustainable
development are now classics.
