Importance of Home network

• View by Telecom ,Home Network is very important
• not only mean the connectivity, but also the
  services.
• It is the extendion of operator network
• Home network should be part of the e2e telecom
  service network, the arch. Interface, performance
  of HN need define for telecom services deployment
  and interoperability.
• Home gateway shoud be the extension of telecom
  service management system.
• All kinds service terminal should also be managed
  by telecom system for best service provide and
  good experience to user
• For future Fixed/mobile converged network, the
  mobile device connectivity in home network also
  should be considered.

Current progress of home network standard

• ITU Should make liaison with these organization
  for cooperation to build a complete Ecosystem.
• UPnP/DLNA attend by IT/Consumer Elec.
  /Communication vendors, UPnP focus the device and
  service auto discover tech and interoperability.
  DLNA focus on equipment interoperability
  standard called DLNA guideline
• Upnp Progress new UPnP AV 2.0 arch. will publish
  soon,
• DLNA progress DLNAv1 has released at 2004, and
  the DLNAv2 has kicked off.
• DSLForum attended by DSL equipment vendors and
  carriers, now has setup a DSL home workgroup for
  home network
• Progress release the TR069 base cpe management
  protocol, all managed terminal will follow this
  TR method.
• HGI initiative by main telecom carrier, joint
  with vendor, view home network from telecom ,make
  the standard for home network arch., and home
  gateway standard
