- SAMMC will be an umbrella organization in which
leaders will have day to day control over the
clinical mission - Service specific missions will still be
controlled at the service level - Implementation has begun
- Leadership at each level will be balanced between
Army and AF assets

- SAMMC will service the same number of
beneficiaries - SAMMC will continue to train about half of all
medical personnel for the Army and Air Force - SAMMC will continue to deploy significant numbers
of personnel as now - 300-400 personnel deployed at any given time
- Critical personnel deployed
- ICU staff, critical care specialists, CCAT teams
- Non clinical support staff at every level
