3Email Accounts
- All students and faculty at Capitol
- College are given lifetime email
- accounts. Faculty are responsible
- for checking their Capitol College
- email accounts on a regular basis.
4Email Accounts
- Each account has a 15 MB quota.
- Maintain your account on a regular basis to avoid
going over quota - If you need assistance call the IT department
at ext. 2040.
5Email Accounts
- Your email account can be accessed from any
computer that has Internet access. To access your
email, go to the following address - https//webmail.capitol-college.edu
- You should see a screen like this one

7Capitol College Email Instructions
Your email address is of the form
myname_at_capitol-college.edu on your registration
form your login is the part to the left of _at_
symbol in your address Your initial password is
the same as your Capitol College ID number.
8Changing Your Password
1. Go to https//webmail.capitol-college.edu.
Accept the security certificate, if asked. 2.
Click on the Change Account Settings link
just above the Capitol College logo to get to the
email account admin page. 3. Enter your user
account and password. 4. Enter your email
address, current password, new password and then
enter your new password again. Click the Change
Password button.
9Viewing Your Email over the Web
Go to https//webmail.capitol-college.edu. Type
in your email ID and password. Your email id is
the part before the _at_capitol-college.edu. Click
on log in Your messages are in a scrollable
window. Click on Mail to see your
messages. Messages stay on the email server
until you mark the message by clicking on the
checkbox and select delete and then click
purge deleted.
10Viewing Your Email over the Web
- To create a new message, click on
- New Message.
- When you are finished reading or sending
- messages, click on Log out before going to a
- new URL or closing the browser.
11Wireless access
- Available in dorms through automatic registration
see your RA for assistance - Connect to the SSID Dorms
- Available elsewhere on campus through the
Bluesocket wireless network gateway - Connect to the SSID Capitol
- Enter your Capitol College email login and
password to access the Internet - (see the next screen)
