- The Protestant Ethics
- Weber claims Dedication to and pride in one's
work, is inevitably a highly productive attitude.
The Calvinist ethic of "godliness" through the
humble dedication to one's beruf (calling/
duty/task), meant economic productivity was
consequently higher in Protestant communities. - Conclusion
- Webers definition of capitalism is the triumph

13CONCLUSION
- The dedication to and the pride of Wimbledon is
obvious. - This attitude leads to productive activities in
terms of commercialization and modernization of
the tournament. - Protestants ethics are applied by the Management
of Wimbledon but the commercialisation is
developing in a moderate, humble way and against
the statement of Max Weber, not at the total
expense of tradition.
