joined the West Yorkshire police in 1980 and
spent 10 years as constable in various stations
and roles within his home town of Leeds. In 1990
he transferred on promotion to Sergeant to North
Wales Police. Since moving to North Wales he has
spent time as a divisional Community Safety
Sergeant, completed the police trainers course,
spent two years on a secondment working in local
government advising on the 1998 Crime Disorder
Act and completed a project on problem solving,
which included training of the force Community
Beat Officers. He returned to operational
policing in August 2002 in Rhosllanerchrugog and
has been carrying out the duties of the District
Inspector since March 2003.

Rhos Details Joined North Wales Police in 1998
and posted to the Central Division working in
Llandudno, Conwy, Colwyn Bay and Rhyl. In 2001 I
transferred to the Eastern Division and worked in
Deeside, Mold, Buckley and Saltney together with
a spell on the then newly formed interview team
based in Mold. In 2005 I was promoted to Sergeant
and posted to Rhosllannerchrugog as area car
Sergeant covering the Wrexham South area. In
November 2006 I took over as the Neighbourhood
Policing Sergeant for Wrexham South.
