Ghana
A center and ministry for girls and women
rescued from the shrines where they were held
by witchdoctors as sex slaves.
The project is being initiated by the Ghana
Baptist Convention.

Italy
The Woman to Woman ministry among immigrant
women in northern Italy will provide tutoring
and outreach training for ministry with women in
prostitution.
Debbie Kelsey, ABC missionary in Italy, is the
project director.

Lebanon
Maids in Lebanon, a ministry to free imprisoned
women who were brought to Lebanon to work as
maids, exploited, and imprisoned as illegals.
Sarah Chetti, ABC missionary in Lebanon, will
administer the Maids in Lebanon project.

Sioux Falls, South Dakota
BE FREE Transformation Ministries focuses on
repairing the breach, restoring the streets. This
new faith-based ministry addresses the issues of
sexual exploitation in the US and
transnationally.
Rev. Susan Omanson is the projects director.

Los Angeles, California
NightLight USA will again receive Break the
Chains funding to train community members to help
human trafficking victims and to organize and
mobile volunteers to do street outreach to
potential victims.

Peoria, Illinois
Peoria Friendship House of Christian Service will
again receive Break the Chains funding to empower
more Hispanic immigrant women to earn a
respectable income through its cottage industry
crafting Matthew 25 scripture-based charm
bracelets, and to expand marketing efforts for
the bracelets.
