- 70 of businesses improved in their productivity
- 90 of MAs felt that they had made the right
choice of training - 75 were satisfied with their training calling
good or very good - more than 80 said that their ability to do their
job had improved as a result of the MA programme - 70 said they would be more likely to undertake
future training - 38 of 16-24yr old MAs currently in training are
already educated to Higher grade standard

Advice and Support
20ILA Scotland
- Scottish Executive scheme for anyone 18 or over
who lives in Scotland. The amount of funding the
individual will receive will depend on how much
they earn. - Not aimed specifically at employers to offset the
cost of vocational training !! -
- ILA Scotland 200 offer If you earn 15,000 a
year or less you can apply for an individual
learning account that will give you up to 200 a
year towards learning something new. Theres a
wide range of courses on offer and you can study
with any approved ILA Scotland learning provider,
including learning centres, local colleges,
universities and private training companies. - ILA Scotland 100 offer

- If you earn more than 15,000 a year you can now
apply for an individual learning account that
will give you up to 100 a year to put towards a
range of courses. Many of the courses will help
you to develop the skills that employers are
looking for - you can build your computer skills,
or even improve your communication and customer
handling skills. You can study with a range of
learning providers who are approved by ILA
Scotland and all courses approved for 100
funding will lead to a recognised certificate or
qualification.
