CEE NETWORK HISTORY

• The CEE Network of Quality Assurance Agencies in
  Higher Education is a non-governmental and
  non-profit organization
• Objectives of the CEE Network
• share and exchange info, experiences, expertise
  and foster cooperation among member agencies
• to serve as a clearing house for issues on
  quality assurance and assist each other in
  elaborating measures for harmonizing activities
  in quality assurance, in order to play a
  proactive role in shaping the European higher
  education area

CEE Network History

• November 19, 2000 the Regional Subnetwork of the
  International Network of Quality Assurance
  Agencies in Higher Education, was established
  (Budapest, Hungary)
• October 13, 2001 founded CEE Network as an
  independent regional network (Cracow, Poland)
• Formally established on October 19, 2002 in
  Vienna.
