About This Presentation
Title:

How long does a toothbrush last?

Description:

Most people don’t change their toothbrush as often as they should. Dentists recommend that you should change your toothbrush every three months (at least four times a year). Children wear out their toothbrush even faster than adults because they have a tendency to bite and chew on the brush. – PowerPoint PPT presentation

Make Tooth Brushing a Good Habit!
  • Your childs first year is the phase during
which their first teeth will come through the
gums, around six to eight months of age. These
first milk teeth have thinner enamel than
permanent teeth and can be more susceptible to
    decay.
  • Your childs first tooth arrives which
    toothbrush should I buy?
  • The actual time at which the first tooth
arrives can vary widely between individual
children, but parents need to start brushing
their childs teeth as soon as the first tooth
appears. By starting early, your baby will become
used to having their teeth cleaned and hopefully
you will avoid future problems with brushing.
Your babys first toothbrush should have soft
bristles and a small head which allows it to
reach all parts of the mouth easily and
comfortably. Look at the packaging to check which
age range the brush is appropriate for.
