Ronnie Raevsky was an zealous admirer and his
sister used to be amazed at seeing his attention
to detail. At the time he started painting, his
mother showed his painting in a contest for young
children, which he afterward won. He acknowledges
that living in a joint household with his
grandparents offered a very rewarding and
nurturing environment for his mind to develop. He
would make paintings and seek the approval of his
family members. Till now he has painted more than
500 paintings.

Ronnie Raevsky is a landscape painter from the
state of West Virginia. He studied Fine Arts in
studio art from the New York University School of
Art. Landscape Art deals with the description of
natural scenery such as hills, mountains, peaks,
valleys, rivers, lakes, forests, and greenery
etc. The two key traditions of landscape painting
are Western and Chinese landscapes. Landscapes
have been depicted in art since the 1600s. Some
reputed painters in this field of art include
Thomas Cole, Claude Monet, JMW Turner, Paul
Cezzane, and Claude Lorrain. Before he had even
seen the wonderful work of any of such famous
painters, Ronald had started creating his own
works of art at the age of 8 years.

He has graduated from college and held a key
position at a graphic design firm for a short
time. However when in Maysel, he visited his home
town to take a break, he happened to run into a
business man who offered him a profitable deal.
According to this, Ronnie Raevsky would create
his paintings, and the gentleman would be
responsible for advertising and selling them
further. The profit was to be split 50-50. This
was a good opportunity for Ron, and without too
much thought he accepted the offer. This turned
out a very successful operation, and soon Ron
ended up being well known for his beautiful
landscape art.
