Title: Alison Lowe – Broadening Perspectives
1Alison Lowe Broadening Perspectives
2Student life is the best time to discover who you
are, not only professionally, but personally. It
is the time to take chances, to explore all kinds
of activities, to think and act outside of the
box. By allowing yourself the freedom to explore,
you not only discover what you like but what you
dont like as well. By doing so, you have a
strong basis for choosing career paths, friends
and direction in life.
3Alison Lowe is an example of a young person who
has tried many different things. It not only
helped her focus on lifes direction but also
made her a better person. Of course it is
important to study. But academics need to be
balanced with community, social, cultural and
personal life. Alison is currently in a Ph.D.
program for clinical psychology. These extra
experiences not only enrich her own life, they
contribute to the betterment of society and will
help make her a better psychologist and human
being.
