training certification.
There are two basic paths you can take The
club/fitness center/gym route as an employee, or
the entrepreneurial route.

education division of NESTA. Aside from
its online degree programs, Wexford also offers a
personal trainer certification.
The NESTA and Wexford certifications are very
different.

NESTA is accredited by NCCA. Wexford is licensed
by the BPPE (Bureau of Private and Postsecondary
Education).
NESTA has a fitness focus. Wexford offers you a
specialization in sports performance.
NESTA is geared more towards working in a
gym/club environment. Wexford is focused on
entrepreneurship.
NESTA is online and requires a proctored
exam. Wexford is online and DOES NOT require a
proctored exam.
NESTA is GI Bill approved. Wexford is approved
for CEUs by NESTA, ISSA, NASM, MMACA, ITCA, SI.
