• Planning for a move? Dont know how to pack all
  your belongings? Before you start packing your
  belongings, get the following supplies ready ,
  and keep them all in one area.
• Boxes
• Marking pen
• Bubble wrap
• Tape
• Scissors and tape measure

Select the Right Box Heavy items such as record
albums, books etc should be put in smaller
cartons whereas some items such as bedding,
blankets and linens should be packed in a larger
box.

Never overload cartons Your packed boxes should
not weigh more than you can comfortably lift. And
make sure the box remains square and is not
bulging to keep them stable when stacking.

Label Each Carton Use the marking pen to clearly
label each box and list both the general contents
and the room it is to be placed in. Label the
side of each carton rather than on the top so
that stacked boxes can be identified.

Tape the Bottom of Cartons Taping the bottom of
cartons before filing them prevents the contents
from spilling out from the bottom.

Use Bubble wraps and Papers All breakable items
should be wrapped individually in bubble wrap or
papers to avoid damage during loading and
unloading.
