2Thomas Marvelli who is a person with numerous
gifts, serves the society as a respected and
caring Ophthalmologist. He always tries to
fulfill the needs of his patients in the best way
possible. He was born in 1953 in this place known
as Eau Claire, Wisconsin and in 1968, he enrolled
at Galesburg Senior High School, Galesburg, IL
and studied here till 1971.
3In the next two years, he got admitted in
Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, IL. As
he was an excellent student, he was honored with
G.B. Dudley Award at Eastern Illinois University
in 1974. He was good at physical and life
sciences. He finished his B.S degree in
zoology/chemistry from Eastern Illinois
University, which is located at Charleston, IL.
Soon, he entered Loyola University Stritch School
of Medicine, Maywood, IL to finish his M.D.

states of Illinois, Iowa, Texas, and Louisiana.
He is widely popular for offering a great deal of

experience of over 29 years, he is a man with
compassion, respect and integrity. He specializes
in Diabetic eye care, Pediatric Ophthalmology,
Cataract Surgery, Glaucoma, Lasik Surgery, and

President's Scholar Program at Southern Illinois
University, Beta Beta Beta, Phi Sigma Society,
and American Chemical Society. He was a resident
in Internal Medicine at University of Iowa
Hospitals and Clinics. He was also the resident
in Internal Medicine at Loyola University Medical
Center for the following year. In 1984, he
finished his residency in Ophthalmology from
Louisiana State University Eye Center. From 1984
to 1985, he was also a fellow in Pediatric
Ophthalmology at the LSUEC.
