Share of history in prelims

• From history generally 12-15 questions are asked
  in PT.
• Questions asked are from Art culture as well
• Questions asked are concept based rather than
  fact based

• History is very boring
• Lot of dates, places, names have to be remembered
  in chronological order
• Everything gets mixed up once we complete the
  full syllabus
• This is not true study history like a story and
  keep narrating to others

• Divide the subject into following parts
• Ancient history
• Medieval history
• Modern history or the freedom struggle
• Art and Culture
• World History (for mains)

• Before Start up with Preparation Go through NIOS
  and NCERT (Old) for basics.
• Always remember Basics are the Building Blocks
  of your Preparation.
• Make mental notes of all the important incidents
  e.g Quit India movement etc
