Alexander Chi MD Cancer Specialist Alexander
Chi MD is a cancer specialist at West Virginia
University, where he is an Assistant Professor in
Radiation Oncology at the WVU Health Sciences
Center. He treats lung cancer and other thoracic
and head and neck malignancies. Alexander Chi MD
was selected to participate in the Methods in
Clinical Trial Design Workshop sponsored by the
American Society of Clinical Oncology and the
American Association in Cancer Research.

women in the United States. He developed the head
and neck and lung cancer radiotherapy program at
West Virginia University. Alexander Chi MD is
also an expert in image-guided radiotherapy. He
is on the Protocol and Research Monitoring
Committee and the Promotion Committee at WVU.

Morgantown, West Virginia, and was previously
associated with the University of Arizona.
Alexander Chi MD has written extensively about

articles appearing in peer-reviewed journals. He
started the Stereotactic Ablative Radiotherapy
program at WVU.

Therapy Alexander Chi MD has been a cancer
researcher at West Virginia University since
2012, when he came there to start the
university's Stereotactic Ablative Radiotherapy
program. Stereotactic Ablative Radiotherapy, or
SABR, is a specialized kind of radiation therapy
used for treating cancer patients. Alexander Chi
MD was the first doctor in the history of WVU to
treat a patient with early stage, non-small cell
lung cancer with SABR.
