INTRODUCTION

• Char means Four and Dham means Abode.
• Charm Dham, the four holy abodes, are believed to
  be the holiest places of pilgrimage.
• The Char Dham are considered as the most sacred
  sites for Hindus.
• There are two circuits of Char Dham sites in
  India, one is the bigger circuit and scattered in
  the four directions of India and another one is
  the smaller circuit and located in the state of
  Uttarakhand.
• Millions of devotees complete the Char Dham yatra
  and pay worship to the temples every year.
• People in India believe that this yatra washes
  away all sins

ITINERARY

DETAILED ITINRERARY
Day 1 - Delhi Rishikesh

• Arrival in Delhi IGI T3 Drive to Haridwar which
  is 224kms / 6 Hrs drive.
• From Haridwar the route goes to Rishikesh
• Visit Lakshmana Temple
• Also visit at Lakshmana Jhula, bridge which 450
  feet long suspension bridge which iwas built in
  1939.
• Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 2 - Rishikesh - Joshimath

• Arrive at Joshimath late at noon, Visit Adi Guru
  Shankaracharya seat Narshimha temple.
• Overnight stay at Joshimath / Rudraprayag, Auli
  is known for winter sports.

Day 3 - Joshimath - Badrinath

• Badrinath is one of the four dhams of the country
  and situated at an elevation of 3133 mts, above
  sea level.
• It is dedicated to lord Vishnu.

Day 4 - Badrinath - Rudraprayag
Drive to Rudhraprayag (160 kms /6 Hrs drive),
take rest, Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 5 - Rudraprayag - Haridwar

• Drive to Haridwar (170 Kms /5 Hrs drive),
  Haridwar is the gateway to pilgrimages of
  Uttarakhand.
• Then in afternoon, a visit to Har Ki Pauri,
  Chandi Devi, Mansa Devi, Kavand Mela, Daksha
  Mahadev Temple, Sapt Rishi, Maya Devi etc.

Day 6 - Haridwar Delhi Drive to Delhi (222
Kms / 6 Hrs), Afternoon is kept free to relax.
Day 7 - Delhi - Bhubaneswar - Puri

• Fly Delhi to Bhubaneswar, On arrival leave
  Bhubaneswar to Puri which is 56 kms approx 1 ½
  hrs drive.
• En route visit Konark Sun Temple Chowsth Yogini
  and the famous Ashokas Rock Adicts.
• Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 8 - Visit Jagannath Puri

• Morning visit Lord Jagannath Temple, built in the
  15th century AD.
• Overnight stay at the hotel.
• Lord Jagannath, is the symbol of universal love
  and is worshiped in the temple.

Day 9 - Puri - Bhubaneshwar - Chennai
Morning Drive back to Bhubaneswar and catch
flight to Chennai, Meet on arrival at Chennai
airport and transfer to Hotel.
Day 10 - Chennai - Madurai - Rameshwaram
Day 11 - Visit Rameshwaram
Full day tour in Rameshwaram, The island of
Rameshwaram spreads out over a 56 km. This is a
sacred place for Hindus according to Ramayana,
this is where Rama performed the worship for
lankan campaign, A dip in the water is a must for
Hindus. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 12 - Rameshwaram - Madurai - Mumbai
Drive back to Madurai and take flight to
Mumbai. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 13 - Mumbai - Rajkot
Fly Mumbai to Rajkot, Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 14 - Rajkot - Dwarka
Drive to Dwarka which is 238 kms approx 5 hrs
drive. PM tour of Dwarka, The ancient sacred
city, once the capital of Lord Krishna's empire,
The attraction is the Dwarkadhish Temple,
Overnight stay.
Day 15 - Dwarka - Rajkot - Mumbai
After breakfast drive back to Rajkot, On arrival
at Rajkot airport catch the flight to Mumbai,
Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 16 - Mumbai
After breakfast, morning cruise across the
harbour visit of Elephanta Caves, PM tour of
Mumbai City, visit of Vinayaka Temple, Overnight
stay.
Day 17 - Departure from Mumbai
Transfer to International Airport to connect
flight for onward destination.
