Title: tissue

1
Tissue
  • Tissue is a group of cells similar in structure
    and function.

2
Types of tissue
3
Plant tissue
4
Meristematic Tissue
  • The growth of plants mainly occurred in certain
specific regions due to dividing of tissue is
    also known as meristematic tissue.
  • Meristematic tissue are classified as Apical,
    Lateral, Intercalary.
  • Apical meristem is present at the growing of stem
and roots increase the length of it. The girth of
the stem or root increase due to lateral
meristem. Lateral meristem is also known
    as(Cambium).Intercalary meristem is the
meristematic the base of the leaves or internodes
    on twigs.

Permanent tissue
  • When meristematic tissue formed cells they take
up a specific role and lose the ability to divide
and form the permanent tissue. The process of
taking up a permanent shape, size and a function
    is called differentation.Cells of meristematic
tissue differentiate to form different types of
    permanent tissue.
  • Permanent tissue can be classified as Simple
Permanent tissue and Complex permanent tissue.

7
Permanent tissue
8
Simple Permanent tissue
  • It can be classified as Parenchyma,Collenchyma,Scl
    erenchyma

9
Complex Permanent Tissue
  • Complex tissue are made of more than one type of
tissue . It can be classified as Xylem and
    Phloem.
  • Xylem-It consists tracheids , vessels , xylem
    parenchyma, xylem fibers .
  • Phloem-It consists sieve tubes, Companion cells,
    Phloem fibers , Phloem Parenchyma.

10
Complex Permanent tissue
11
Animal Tissue
  • It can be classified in four types-Epithelial ,
    Connective ,Muscular ,Nervous .

12
Epithelial tissue
13
Muscular tissue
14
Connective tissue
15
Nervous tissue
  • Nervous tissue is made up of neurons that receive
    and conduct impulses.
