2Thomas Marvelli is a respected, renowned M.D. in
Texas. Having specialization in the Ophthalmology
field, he has served a number of patients by
treating their eye related diseases and
disorders. He offers diabetic eye care, pediatric
ophthalmology, cataract surgery, glaucoma, lasik
surgery, and cornea transplants.
3He was born in the year 1953 in Eau Claire. He
went to Galesburg Senior High School and
completed his schooling from there. In 1971, he
took admission at Southern Illinois University in
Carbondale and studied there for two years. In
1975, he completed his B.S. in Zoology/Chemistry
with high honors from Eastern Illinois
University, Charleston, IL.
4He holds more than 29 years of experience, and
worked in various medical facilities. 1978 was
the year when he started practicing as a Resident
in Internal Medicine at the University of Iowa
Hospitals and Clinics. Thomas Marvelli worked
there till 1980 and after that, he joined Loyola
University Medical Center as a same profile. He
spent three years at Louisiana State University
Eye Center as a Resident in Ophthalmology.
5Dr. Thomas has in depth knowledge of functions of
all the parts of human eye. He holds medical
licenses of various states including Iowa,
Louisiana, Texas, and Illinois. He is very strong
in the Physical and Life Science areas and has
also received G.B. Dudley award at Eastern
Illinois University for the same. In his free
times, he likes to cook food and spend time with
his family members.
6He is a member of the American Academy of
Ophthalmology, a San Fransisco based medical
association. Other professional societies in
which he is involved are Contact Lense
Association of Ophthalmologists, Tarrant County
Medical Society, Texas Medical Association,
Arlington Medical Society, Fort Worth Pediatric
Society, International Society of Refractive
Keratoplasty, Tarrant County Ophthalmology
