  • Stage after the Mature Stage
  • The very last stage before the tornado disappears
  • Rope like , so it is also known as the rope
    stage

Dissipation Stage
  • Not as strong as the Mature stage
  • But still could be powerful and dangerous
  • Still could cause a lot of damage

Process of rope stage
  • 1) The strong vortex heavy relies on the warm
    moist air supply to fuel the tornado
  • 2) Cold air or RFD around the tornado sinks in
    and wrap around the tornado
  • 3) Cuts the original inflow air supply of the
    tornado
  • 4) Tornado weakens and disappear eventually

  • Tornadoes could possibly not go through the rope
    stage, especially some large tornadoes
  • Tornadoes could reform swiftly after they go
    through the rope stage
