catamaran, which transports 16 adventurous
passengers out to the natural habitats of the
mangrove islands and Key West's backcountry.

larger groups or our 24ft power Sea Cat for small
groups and private charters allows us to get into
shallow water and areas most boats are unable to.
This allows our Captain to choose the best
location for the day. This also makes us both the
only downwind kayaking tour in Key West and the
fastest to our destinations. This cuts your
travel time down to 1/3 of our competitors
allowing more time for our water activities. Our

Meet The Owner - Matt Hungerford
Hello everyone, my name is Matt Hungerford. I am
a transplant here from Biloxi, Mississippi and
have always lived on the water and enjoyed every
aspect of it. I ve been fishing and diving since
1992 and have been a captain since 1996. I
started out on oil field boats, but quickly moved
on to private yachts and charters. In 1997 I got
a private pilots license in order to extend my
range and see more of the US, Bahamas, and
Caribbean. I bought my first cruising sailboat in
1998.
I have enjoyed using all these resources to
travel, live and learn new things. The summer of
2009 I was sailing the Bahamas and decided to
head west toward Central America with a stop over
in Key West. Well, nearly 4 years later I have
not left. This place has something to offer
everyone who loves life! I fell in love with the
place and decided to put a new spin on an old
business and do Eco-tours in the wildlife refuge
using the clear kayaks I saw in the Caribbean. I
also used my pilot and exploration skills to push
the envelope and find the best spots to take
tourists based on the wind and tide. I chose a
High speed, stable, motor catamaran as my vessel
in order to be able to reach spots that others
could not in their half-day trips. I am the only
company that I know of that offers a money back

Kayaking/ Snorkel Tour Our Eco tours include
three things A ride to the Great White Heron
National Refuge (approximately 5 miles from Key
West) onboard our Vessel the Beachcat Kayaking
(yes we offer the only guided kayak tours in
CLEAR kayaks. this portion lasts 1 hour and 15
mins Last but not least, the snorkeling. We have
a plethora of spots all to our self coral reefs,
sponge gardens, and shipwrecks.
