Sam Gray of Boulder CO is a 2013 graduate of the
University of Colorado, and a 2014 volunteer to
the Peace Corps. He is currently a Peace Corps
volunteer living with a family in the Dominican
Republic, where he is assigned to an ecotourism
project. Sam Gray of Boulder CO has been in the
Dominican Republic since the spring of 2014,
where he has very limited Internet access and
electricity that comes and goes. He is thankful
that there is running water.
2Sam Gray Boulder CO A Kayaking Business
Sam Gray of Boulder CO is getting a close look at
life in a developing country. He is currently a
Peace Corps volunteer who is living with a host
family in Laguna Limon in the Dominican Republic,
where he is assigned to an ecotourism project
that is centered on a fledgling kayaking
business. He has been able to meet up with other
Peace Corps volunteers, including getting
together with some over the Fourth of July

3Sam Gray Boulder CO An Ecotourism Project
Sam Gray of Boulder CO attended the University of
Colorado, where he majored in Economics and
International Affairs. After graduating in the
spring of 2013 he volunteered for the Peace Corps
and is currently living and working in the
Dominican Republic. His principle assignment is
to an ecotourism project, but he is gradually
becoming involved in the community through youth
and womens groups and by teaching English
language classes.

Sam Gray of Boulder CO is a Peace Corps volunteer
who is currently deployed to the Dominican
Republic, where he is assigned to an ecotourism
project centered on a kayaking business

the Dominican Republic since early in 2014. As
part of his initial in-country training, he
helped build a swing set in Dajabon, a province
in the northwest part of the country, and helped
paint lines on a community basketball court.
