Karen Gaba Dedicated Swim Coach
Karen Gaba has been dedicated to the success of
her swim teams throughout her years as a coach.
She has coached at numerous levels, from
assistant coach to head coach of varsity teams.
She started coaching swimming in 1999 at Tappan
Zee High School where she trained Junior Varsity
level boys team for Varsity level competition.
She moved on to become the Boys Varsity Swim
Coach in 2002 and would lead the boys team to an
18-4 record and two consecutive Rockland County
Championships.

Karen Gaba has been a dedicated high school swim
coach since 1999 where she started as assistant
coach to the boys Junior Varsity swim team for
Tappan Zee High School. Just a few years after
becoming assistant head coach, she would become
head coach of the boys Varsity swim team,
leading them to consecutive Rockland County
Championships and an impressive record of 18-4.

Karen Gaba has seen success coaching high school
swim teams since she started out as Assistant
Boys Swim Coach for Tappan Zee High School in
1999. She would go on to become head coach of
the Tappan Zee High Schools Boys Varsity Swim
Team, leading them to two consecutive Rockland
County Championships and a winning record of 18-4.

Karen Gaba A Life in the Water
Karen Gaba has been blazing a career path through
the water since 1999 when she became an assistant
swim coach for a boys junior varsity swim team.
Since then she has gone on to lead several swim
teams, both boys and girls, to successful records
and championships in competition. She initially
received her education in Business
Administration, but went on to complete a
Bachelors degree in Health and Physical
education.
