• Interestingly, Michigan not only specializes in a
  wide variety of grape wines but also cultivates
  cherry wine which is generally sweeter than grape
  fruit.

• The most common types of grape harvested
  throughout Michigan include the Cabernet Franc,
  Pinot Blanc, Concord, and Chancellor amongst many
  other breeds. Michigans unique climate allows
  wine to blossom to its true potential throughout
  the year, which results in an excellent harvest
  season for wineries in Michigan.
