About SFI rated suits
Increase in the length of time you will be
protected by your fire-suit before it succumbs to
the flames. SFI Ratings are determined by the
results of several tests conducted on racing
suits for fire retardant capabilities and Thermal
Protective Performance (TPP). The standard
specs for racing suits are 3.2A or 3.2A/1.
Superior construction will yield ratings of
3.2A/3, and 3.2A/5. The increase in the last
digit signifies the increase in the length of
time and the protection level increases before it
succumb to the bonfires.

Safety Measures
The testing process means lots to the racers,
this is the only way through which you can
differentiate the quality assured products and
untested products. SFI rated race suits are
laboratory tested and provides more safety then
normal suits for their customers. 3.2A/1 takes
3 second until a second degree burn 3.2A/3 takes
around 7 seconds 3.2A/5 takes around 10
seconds 3.2A/10 takes around 19 seconds 3.2A/15
takes around 30 seconds
