A businessman, Philosopher, Academician and a
Philanthropist, Vinay Rai has excelled in all
domains.  A great exponent of creative
capitalism, he is an icon for change and
evolution in the progressive India. Through his
philanthropic initiative, Vinay Rai has
contributed immensely for women empowerment,
welfare of orphan girls, promoting ancient arts
and culture and supporting rural health care. His
noble concern for the underprivileged section of
the society and widespread poverty urged him to
form Rai Foundation in 1996, launching
university-level across India.

The Rai Foundation Group has created several
initiatives in the field of education by offering
free scholarships to underprivileged girls to
pursue bachelors and masters degrees. Vinay Rai
has started a program called Girl Genius and
Gifted Girl that provides free higher education
along with housing and food and clothing
allowance to  a number of orphan girls and girls
from the poorest families every year.

up issues affecting public life and interest and
in healthcare he supported issues and research
related to malnutrition and hygiene. Vinay Rais

society. The journey has taken Vinay Rai from
being a scientist and an engineer, to business
leader, academician, philanthropist and
philosopher.
