Bernardo Barnhart hails from Immokalee, a city
located in the south central region of Florida,
where he attended high school. As an avid
football fan, he makes sure to involve himself in
the local high school football scene, mainly
through his work as a radio commentator on the
regions popular The Call radio station. In
addition, Bernardo Barnhart also participates in
online fantasy football leagues. As part of the
community's prominent leaders, Bernardo Barnhart
has the unique opportunities to help motivate the
young people of Immokalee. One of the ways he
does this is in helping the local high school
football scene, specifically as a radio

children born to migrant farm workers, he had to
set a good example for his siblings. He often
helped his parents with the housework, alongside

with children of his own, Bernardo ensures they
put extra effort into their studies. Hailing from
the small town of Immokalee, Florida, Bernardo
Barnhart knows that his journey to success is
quite an achievement for him and his family. He
is the oldest of four children and was raised by
migrant farm workers.

to be the best. He was brought up in the town,
born to migrant farm workers whose perseverance
served to teach a young Bernardo that anything

academic success was not an easy one either, as
an early brush with cancer almost derailed his
ambitions to graduate. Still, he stood firm and
graduated with a bachelors degree in business
administration in 2001, and since then has
established a successful career in the banking
industry.

Bernardo Barnhart is a shining example of what
hard work and dedication can accomplish. Raised
in the towns impoverished neighborhood, he
fought through various challenges to attain a
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from
the University of Florida. At the time, not many
of the town's youth made it that far, and those
that did choose to make their living far away
from home.
