Title: Question 5

1
Question 5 Addressing the Audience
2
As discussed in other questions, my audience is
actually quite a grungy Stereotype. Thing that
look decayed and destroyed appeal to them, as it
fits well with their political beliefs. I
appealed to this in the following slide
3
This isn't necessarily, more or less sloppily
written or sprayed. It resembles graffiti, which
also appeals to punk audiences as they were known
for vandelism
The rigid edged quick written yet stylish look
gives the magazine that little bit more of an
edge.
I used a decay vector brush for this, I felt like
this would appeal to the audience as it looks
very destroyed and may resembled album covers of
punk bands
4
Article
As my audience is punk it is generally required
for some cursing, but in moderation, if the
magazine swears too much it will come across as
pretentious and repetitive. I avoided this by
cursing twice, and only when it seemed
appropriate. The article also has some
references to new punk and old punk music, this
would definitely appeal to punk listeners.
5
The use of the ooze graphic was used to appeal
to the more bubble-gum punk audience. This was
quite a change from the decayed theme. This was
to promote irony. Quebec rising are a pop punk
band that dont want to be labelled as a pop punk
band, but the magazine disagrees.
6
  • Also, to add insult to injury. Although the
telecasters are mine, they exact model was used
by Pop punk band NOFXs lead guitarist El Hefe

7
The layout of the contents page does stray from
the general themes of the cover and article,
although this is to make up for broken
conventions , I feel like I have strayed to far
away and it may not appeal to my audience.
