- Precise description of quality material required
to be procured for the purpose it is meant for - OR
- It enables to confirm the receipt of material

- Description of purpose intended for

- The specifications shall be suitable to impart
training as per the prescribed syllabus. - Unbiased technical specifications shall be
prepared without mentioning brand names,
catalogue numbers, make model numbers - While preparing specifications use BIS code
numbers for standards wherever necessary.
