• Plain background contrasts well with text and

• Headline is very vibrant and captures the reader
  immediately.

These are the exact results I wanted from my
music magazine cover. Im glad that the headline
immediately captures the audience and stands out
as a major focal point of my magazine. However
the reason I choose to go with white as a
background color is because I believed it gave my
magazine that simplicity and clarity I was going
for and I thought my reader would appreciate it.
My main inspiration came from vice magazine as
they often have very plain covers. If I were to
construct my cover again I would maybe consider
changing the background up abit and making it pop
more.

• The writing/article descriptions are very clear
  and contrast well with the background.
• It beautifully simplistic yet very professional.
• The columns allow clear segregation and
  strengthen the organization of the contents page.

• Cons
• again background could be considered boring as
  its just white.
• Could have had more focus on the images or even
  just mor images in general.

I am very pleased with the feedback I got for my
contents page as the pros are actually all of the
things I was aiming to get across when initially
creating my contents page. However, if I were to
construct my contents page/magazine again I would
include a more vibrant background and more
article photos/teasers for the contents page.

Double Page Spread

• Pros
• Great use of space and the image stands out In a
  vivid eye catching way.
• Article is exactually what you expect coming from
  the contents and cover page. The image on the
  spread also sets you up beautifully for the
  article.
• Article uses great mature language while also
  keeping it relevant to the specific audience and
  relevant genres.
• The fact file is a great use of space and really
  makes the article look professionally and
  organized.

• Cons
• The writing review the two other albums is quite
  small.
• The use of color could maybe vary more or be
  generally a bit brighter.

Again I am pleased with the feedback of my double
page spread as all the features I aimed to
express came back with positive feedback. I am
particularly glad that people noticed and enjoyed
the fact file but also enjoyed the content and
mature language used within my article. Even
though I did predominantly want to reinforce my
house style colors if I did reconstruct my
magazine I would consider changing up the color
scheme for that page and give it more eye
grabbing colors.
