After earning his B.A. from Illinois Wesleyan
University in 1974, Dr. Barry Littlejohn, M.D.
traveled North from Bloomington to DeKalb, where
he received his M.B.A. from Northern Illinois
University in 1976. Before pursuing a career in
medicine, Littlejohn served as the Vice President
of Investments at Jefferson Trust and Savings
Bank in Peoria, Ill. In 1979, Littlejohn enrolled
at the Independent University of Guadalajara in
Mexico and earned his M.D. in 1982. After
studying at Loyola Universitys School of
Medicine, Dr. Littlejohn began practicing
medicine in Illinois in 1985.

Since beginning to practice obstetrics in
Illinois in 1985, Dr. Barry Littlejohn, M.D. has
worked in several clinics and performed surgeries
in various hospitals in both Illinois and
Arizona. Dr. Littlejohn completed his residency
and training in obstetrics at the University of
Illinois OB/GYN in Peoria, Ill., from 1986 to
1989. After working at the Sterling/Rock Falls
Clinic for three years, Dr. Littlejohn opened his
solo practice in Peru, Ill. Currently he owns and
operates the Barry M. Littlejohn, M.D. solo
practice in Glendale, Ariz., and has surgical
privileges at Arrowhead Hospital.
