Who is a HVAC Contractor
HVAC stands for Heating, Ventilation, and Air
Conditioning so this type of contractor will work
on heating and air conditioning units. They will
repair and install air conditioners, vents, and
heaters along with their related equipment. This
can include thermostats, heat pumps, boilers,
furnaces, air conditioners, and ductwork. A HVAC
contractor San Diego may also be trained and
licensed to do such work as performing energy
audits and sealing ducts. When you become a HVAC
contractor, you are usually certified with a
North American Technician Excellence
certification (NATE). Before you can become a
certified HVAC contractor San Diego you first
take and pass a state licensing exam. This exam
will test your practical knowledge regarding the
functions, repair techniques, and parts of air
conditioners and heaters.

What a HVAC Contractor do?
They are tested on mechanical codes, which vary
by state. This will ensure that the equipment
and clients home are protected when the
contractor works on their HVAC units. After
being licensed, the contractor must comply at all
times with codes and regulations.   Being a HVAC
contractor, they must be willing to put clients
needs first. They must always be courteous to
your clients and exhibit a high level of
professionalism at all times. A HVAC contractor
must also be able to explain to their client in
layman terms what the problem is and how it can
be repaired or if it needs to be replaced so that
the client knows what is to be done. They also
need to be constantly studying the latest trends
so that they have all the modern knowledge to
work on the newer heating and air conditioning
units.
