• Ian Renner of Cape Town moved to Los Angeles to
  work in the film industry. He has found success
  in the City of Angels and works as a set designer
  for some of the most prominent film studios in
  the industry. His most recent project was for an
  upcoming summer blockbuster that Renner wanted to
  keep under wraps for the time being.

L.A. Set Designer
Ian Renner of Cape Town moved to Los Angeles at
age thirty to start over in life. After years of
slaving away at an office job he hated in South
Africa, Renner moved to Los Angeles to get a job
in the film industry. He arrived with no
experience whatsoever in film, but worked hard as
an unpaid intern for a set design company.
Moving Up
Ian Renner of Cape Town moved from his home in
South Africa to Los Angeles to work in the film
industry. Twenty years after he moved, he is a
successful freelance set designer working for
some of the top film companies in Hollywood. He
recently finished designing the set for one of
the summers upcoming blockbusters.

Excellent Set Designer
Ian Renner of Cape Town moved from South Africa
and took a big risk coming out to Hollywood to
work in an industry he has no experience in. He
started as an unpaid intern, sleeping in shelters
and working part time at a Wendys near the
office of the studio where he interned. Finally,
he earned a full time position with the set
design firm .
Hard Worker
Ian Renner of Cape Town spent ten years working
at a large finance company in his hometown. One
day he decided to quit his job and move to Los
Angeles to work in film. He had no experience or
skills, but he managed an unpaid internship at a
prominent set design company for a year before he
accepted a full-time position.

Long Journey
Always a fan of Hollywood movies, Ian Renner of
Cape Town decided to leave his hometown and the
place where he worked for an investment company
for ten years to move to Hollywood. He wanted to
work in the film industry he grew up watching and
loving. He found a job as a set designer for a
prominent studio .
Interest in Fashion
Ian Renner of Cape Town is known for relentlessly
following his interests and sudden career moves.
Over two decades ago, Renner followed his passion
for Hollywood when he moved to Los Angeles to
pursue a career working in the movies. After
years of struggling, he became a set designer.
Today, he says his interests outside of work are
in fashion. Perhaps costume design is next.
