XCS-4000 Series CNC Plasma Arc Cutting Machine
The XCS-4000 Series can be built with either a
Down-draft or Water Table. The Down-draft
Table minimizes smoke and sparks which are taken
down stream through the spark arrester and self
cleaning filtration systems. The Water Table is
filled with treated water to help entrap the
smoke and dust. Both configurations are built to
handle up to 2 1/2 metal plates. This machine
will give you years of trouble-free production.
Automatic torch height control and 360 Torch
Collision protection are standard features
included with all XCSPLASMA systems. With plasma
units ranging in power from 105 amps up to 400
amps, customers can choose a system that will
meet their specific and future needs.
Setup and installation of the XCSPlamsa Series
Machines can generally be completed in just a few
hours. Since there are no CNC codes to learn, an
operator can be trained in a few hours and be
producing parts efficiently in a couple of days.
Onsite Installation and Training are included.
Technical support is available free of charge via
phone, Internet or e-mail for as long as you own
the machine. The XCS-4000 Series Z-axis travel is
10 so you can cut up to 8 square tubing without
removing slats and no adapters. Just place your
work on the table and cut.

XCS-2000 Series CNC Plasma Cutting Machine
Whether you are a job shop, HVAC shop, ornamental
iron shop, or manufacturer, youll appreciate the
rugged and robust construction of the XCS-2000
Series. Built to handle up to 1 ¾ steel plate,
this machine will give you years of trouble free
production. Automatic torch height control and
360 Torch Collision are standard features
included with all XCSPLASMA systems.
The XCS-2000 Series design featuring X and Y axes
drives mounted on the overhead gantry means years
of problem-free operation since there is almost
no possibility of slag, splatter, or water
entering and damaging the drives. The XCS-2000
Series integrated (but replaceable) water table,
capable of handling large plates, eliminates the
need for exhaust removal and filtration since
there is almost no smoke. Since the parts can be
handled immediately after cutting, higher
production rates can be achieved. The XCS-2000
Series Z-axis travel is 6 so you can cut up to
4 square tubing.

Simple Path Software
Xycorp, Inc. Simple Path software is package of
drawing and cutting software that will allow you
to create your drawings (or import a file from
other CAD programs) and control the machine
movement with nothing more to buy. This software
suite works together seamlessly giving operators
the ability to import, edit, draw and cut all
from the same screen! We include all PC hardware
and Windows. XP OS with our Simple Path
software. One thing that sets Xycorp apart from
other manufactures is the fact that we have
integrated our components very closely when we
designed our Simple Path software. We do
extensive testing to assure that all of our
components work seamlessly together with our
software and operating system so our systems and
subsystems are transparent to the operator...
When using the Simple Path plasma cutting
software, it is not necessary to refer to an
operators manual for process settings. Material
type, thickness, cutting amperage, cutting speed,
and other vital information are stored in the
materials file of the operators control panel,
plus you can add/create your own profiles too.
With Simple Path automatic cutting path control,
you can be assured that all the holes and
internally nested parts will be cut first. Our
Simple Path parts sequence optimizer ensures the
highest quality of parts and the most efficient
use of machine time.

Simple Path Software
With auto torch height control, even thin
material can be cut accurately and efficiently by
following the rise and fall of the warp of the
plate. The XCSPLASMA Series Machines come with a
full-featured automatic torch height control
utilizing Ohmic sensing that will automatically
set and maintain the torch to the optimal cutting
height. To eliminate the chance of collisions, we
include a 360 degree torch collision/damage
avoidance feature. The XCSPLASMA Series Machines
are controlled by the PC-based Controller and the
Simple Path software from Xycorp. The XCS
control system was specifically designed to
tightly integrate with Hypertherm plasma cutting
systems and the Xycorp Simple Path software to
offer the most efficient and easy-to-use system
available. Internal digital servo drive
amplifiers deliver closed-loop motion control to
the X and Y axes for cutting and the Z axis for
torch level positioning. Resolver feedback allows
positioning accuracies and repeat ability
typically found in much more expensive machines.
