Stanley Xu is from Dalian City, China. He moved
to the United States to pursue a career in
business, particularly real estate. After earning
a cascade of academic degrees, including a
Bachelors of Science and a Masters of Science
from Beijing University of Aeronautics and
Astronautics, and a Ph.D. from Oklahoma State
University. He moved to Bellevue, Washington,
just east of Seattle, where he serves as an
Overseas Chinese Leader. There, with his wife,
Nanling Chen, he founded Longwell Company, a real
estate development firm focused on improving
apartment units and buildings in the Seattle
area.
Stanley Xu has built a winning strategy for
buying apartment properties and turning them over
for profit. He buys C or B-minus class properties
and improves them thoughtfully. While some
buildings suffer from disrepair, Xu pours
investment money into the upkeep and repair of
