Douglas MacNeille has been a practicing attorney
for over 35 years, with over 30 years practicing
on Hilton Head Island. He earned his bachelor's
degree from the University of Virginia,
graduating in 1973 Douglas earned his law degree
from Southwestern University in Los Angeles, CA,
and went on to be accepted by the California Bar
Association in 1979. In 1984, he was accepted
into the South Carolina Bar Association and moved
to South Carolina, where he continues to practice
law today. He is admitted to the 4th Circuit
Court of Appeals and the U.S District Court of
South Carolina, and is a past President of the
Beaufort County Bar Association. His practice
specializes in estate planning and probate law,
homeowner associations, family law, child support
law, business, and personal injury. He provides
his clients with unparalleled expertise and a
prompt, individualized, and detail-oriented
approach.

degree from the University of Virginia, he
graduated from Southwestern University Law School

moved to South Carolina in 1985.
When he is not at his law practice, Douglas
MacNeille can be found playing tennis or golf at
one of Hilton Head's recreational clubs, or
dining out at one of his favorite restaurants. He
enjoys following the sports teams from his home
state of Illinois, and you can be sure to find
him watching a Bears game during football season.
